While the exact plastics that make these cups up are not currently known to the community it is potentially PET due to the clarity of the cups. "Gen 2" shakers are the second of the two shakers and are easily recognizable both by their heavier feel in the hand and their almost glass like clarity. While these cups don't look quite as good on display due to their semi foggy nature the plastic is semi flexible and can handle some pressures from sodas and other carbonated drinks without risk of major damage to the cups (it is still suggested to alleviate pressure if/when possible however) and their designs are also rather scratch resistant though the earlier Season 1 cups can be rather sensitive depending on how early or late in the run you have. Good examples of the Generation 1 shaker cups are the majority of Season 1 shakers excluding Season 1 creator cups. "Gen 1" shakers are the first of the two shaker cups you'll encounter, they're made of a Polypropylene plastic primarily and appear clear but somewhat foggy, similar to a slightly fogged window. While both manufacturers' cups ARE Waifu Cups (Sold by GamerSupps on the GamerSupps website) they're made slightly differently and you'll notice these differences in specific aspects of the cups. On the subreddit you'll likely see the discussion come up about "Generations" This term has to do with the GamerSupps shakers being made by two separate manufacturers. However as media about new cups/items comes forth don't be surprised to see more posts like this appear covering other aspects of GamerSupps' products. Generations (What this means and how to tell the difference). This post specifically deals with GamerSupps' Waifu Cup series of shakers, it will cover a few aspects of the cups you'll see bandied about the subreddit most importantly are Hi there and firstly let me welcome you to the GamerSupps community, whether you bought in because of the cups GamerSupps sells or because of their drink mixes we're glad to have you here and hope you find something useful.
